Llyn Wood Product is a family run business in the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in North Wales,Specialising in Low Impact ,Low Carbon Footprint ,Environmentlly Friendly Materials . 

We have been Milling Welsh grown timber since 1998. We specialise in timbers such as; Mature Larch, Western red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Oak, Ash, Yew, Maple and Sycamore.

Specialists in Cedar Shingles Sawn Durable Home Grown Timber, Timber Structures, whether they be Play Houses or Multi Roomed Offices and Chalets. Shingle Roofing is also available.

Our services include repairs and maintenance to timber building.

It makes no sense to be bringing timber half way around the world to the Llyn Peninsula when there is so much of our own growing here, all around us. Passionate about the importance of reconnecting woodland owners with local timber markets, We are keen to help others to make use, as we do, of our plentiful local, natural resource.

 

 

 

 

Timber framed buildings

 Are made of wood, such buildings can be in the Garden as Garden Buildings.Garden Builings made of wood and timber will be of one of the follwing:

Cedar,

Ash,

Larch,

Oak.

All of these are wooden buildings called timber framed buildings.

Timber Framed Offices

 are timber buildings. 

 

Timber sheds are also timber buildings and sheds may also be used as offices. Extra rooms and annexes canbe buillt from wood and are called timber buildings , because they provide extra rooms  they may be called chalets.

 

Chalets

 are mostly timber built timber buildings. Chalets may have more than one room these rooms in themselves would each be a timbe building.

 

Timber chalets are made from wood as are wooden sheds and offices. Timber offices are bigger that timber sheds but smaller than timber chalets. The wood we use for sheds, chalets and offices means that they are wooden structures. This wood may be Cedar or it may not be cedar. Cedar wood is not as strong as oak.

 

We use wood sourced locally for our wooden sheds and chalets. Our Cedar clad chalets are built by and and result in beatifully finished chalets. Our beautifully finished bespoke timber buildings are clad with either cedar cladding or larch cladding. The cladding matches the shingle roof. The shingle roof can aslo be of Cedar shingles or larch. We produce our own shingles from eco friendly sources. our sources are local woodland where we grow cedar and larch for our shigles and cladding boards. Cladding boards can be either feather edge or waney board, both can be out of cedar or larch or even oak.

based in North wales where north wales has numerous forests that supply us with our cedar and larch trees.

We do not use subcontractors. Our own professional team can carry out all design work, groundwork and construction work, including electrical and plumbing work. the project; we can even help with planning applications. Many regions of the country have their own distinctive style of architecture determined by the local landscape and locally available materials. We specialise in designing for the landscaping and architecture of North Wales. We can source traditional local materials including bricks from Wales and locally grown oak.
